I’m a Houston-area native and Texas Tech graduate with a B.A. in Communications, but my career really took off when I followed an opportunity west to El Paso. What started as a move for work became nine years of building events, partnerships, brands, and community experiences across the city.

I began with Townsquare Media and later joined El Paso Live, where I produced concerts, festivals, seasonal events, and destination marketing initiatives across private and city-owned venues. Those years gave me hands-on experience in everything from sponsorships and marketing to programming, partnerships, production, and revenue strategy.

In 2019, I launched HiddenGEM. Then COVID changed the event world almost overnight. Pivoting away from live events introduced me to a new kind of work: launching businesses, brands, and venues alongside developers, architects, entrepreneurs, and private investors. It quickly became another passion.

After nine years in El Paso, I moved to Corpus Christi to experience a new market, enjoy a little beach life, and follow my goal of supporting businesses at the district level. With the Downtown Management District in the Marina Arts District, I led programming, marketing, and event initiatives while also leading the Downtown Business Association, representing more than 50 local businesses.

Next came Grapevine / DFW area, where I joined the Grapevine Convention & Visitors Bureau and supported a large portfolio of destination events, including two signature festivals with more than 40 years of history. I worked across CVB departments to help promote Grapevine as a destination and had the privilege of collaborating with longtime festival committee members, volunteers, and City employees who had supported these events for decades.

Today, I’m based in Denver, Colorado, closer to family while continuing to work with clients and projects across Texas and Colorado through consulting and coordination. This chapter has also given me more time for family, friends, travel, exploring a new city, and learning new tools in an increasingly AI-driven world.

Most importantly, I’ve used this time to get clearer about my purpose, passions, and the projects that bring me joy. I’m intentional about the clients, organizations, partners, and teams I choose to work with. I’m excited to build new projects alongside smart, collaborative people and visionary leaders who care about the quality of life of both their communities and the people helping build them.
